The presentation highlights pavement texturing to restore friction on roadways and runways, friction recovery case studies, the mechanisms by which texturing increases micro and macrotexture, ideal pavement candidates, treatment expectations in terms of service life and cost-benefit, and technical information from a 2021 NCAT case study.
